Czech air carrier Smartwings (QS/TVS) has discontinued all regular flight operations at the end of March this year, with no regular flights operated ever since. The company announced they plan to resume flight operations on June 10th. The very first regular flight will be from Prague to Split. After Split, the company will resume several more routes to Greek and Bulgarian destinations.
Prague – Split route will have two flights during the first week of operations, on Wednesday and Saturday. In the second week of operations, there will be three flights with additional flight on Monday. From June 24th this route is planned to be operated on a daily basis. Prague – Dubrovnik route is announced to resume with flight operations from July 1st on a daily basis from day one. Polish routes from Katowice and Warsaw to Split are offered once a week on Thursdays, starting from June 18th.
Several charter routes are planned as well. Ostrava – Split route is planned once a week on Saturdays, from June 13th. Polish charter routes from Gdansk, Katowice, Poznan and Warsaw to Dubrovnik are planned once a week on Thursdays, from June 25th.
All flights will be operated mainly with Boeing 737-800 (in the pictures) but selected flights could also be operated with a smaller Boeing 737-700 or larger Boeing 737-900. Flights from Prague to Split and Dubrovnik are operated in code-share co-operation with Czech flag air carrier ČSA Czech Airlines (OK/CSA), the member of SkyTeam Alliance.
