Starting this June, after almost 30 years, you can fly to BELGRADE from RIJEKA AIRPORT.
The route will be operating twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays, throughout the year.

Rijeka Airport: First flight from Belgrade to Rijeka
Rather than spending more then six hours on the road, travelers will be able to fly from Rijeka to Belgrade in just 80 minutes. The flights on this route will be operated by Air Serbia’s ATR 72 aircraft, with the capacity of 66 passengers. During the high season, a larger Airbus A319 will take over, with the capacity of 144 passengers. Air Serbia is a Serbian national air carrier, flying up to a total of 49 destinations in Europe and the Mediterranean. The airline also has direct flights to the Middle East and North America. In cooperation with Etihad Airways, they offer direct flights from Belgrade to international destinations in Asia, Australia and Africa.

Enjoy a coffee on Korzo promenade, walk through the Old Town or Molo Longo, climb up the Trsat stairs, visit the Trsat Castle and a nearby Shrine of Our Lady of Trsat, take a swim on one of the beaches, buy local produce on the central farmers market, visit the cathedral of Sv. Opatija – excelent choice for both winter and summer vacation
In addition to Rijeka, the entire Kvarner region and its islands can, we have to mention Opatija. Opatija is the leading tourist destination in Croatia, very popular for organizing congresses, seminars and business consultations. In 1844, the first Villa-hotel was built in Opatija, Villa Angiolina.
The city offers a year-round festivals, concerts, exhibitions and other cultural and sporting events.
Opatija is located on the east coast of the Istrian peninsula, underneath the Učka mountain. It is the largest city and the center of Liburnia region, stretching from Plomin, along the coast and over the mountains Učka and Ćićarija, all the way to Rupa and Kastav.
We must not forget the green heart of Croatia – Gorski Kotar. A perfect place for those who want to spend time in the fresh air, explore the wild nature, beautiful lakes, and relax from the busy city life.
In less than 2 hour drive from Rijeka, you can reach any picturesque place in Istria, as well as the popular cities of Umag, Poreč, Rovinj and Pula.
