During last five days several air carriers have resumed flight operations to Croatian airports.
German flag air carrier Lufthansa (LH/DLH), a member of Star Alliance, has resumed flight operations to Dubrovnik and Split last month. On Friday, April 30th, Lufthansa also resumed flight operations on Frankfurt – Pula route with Mitsubishi CRJ-900. One day later, on Saturday, May 1th, Lufthansa arrived to Zadar on its first international regular flight this year. With the arrival of Embraer ERJ-190 (in the picture) flight operations were resumed on Frankfurt – Zadar route with first 77 passangers arriving to Zadar.
Austrian flag air carrier Austrian Airlines (OS/AUA), a member of Star Alliance, has resumed flight operations on its routes from Vienna to Dubrovnik and Split on Friday, April 30th.
Czech air carrier Smartwings (QS/TVS) has resumed flight operations on Warsaw – Dubrovnik route on Thursday, April 29th. After that, on Saturday, May 1st, flight operations were also resumed on Prague – Split route.

Russian air carrier Nordwind Airlines (N4/NWS) started with flight operations on new Moscow (Sheremetyevo Airport) – Pula route on Wednesday, April 28th. After several delays, on Friday, April 30th, flight operations also started on the new Moscow – Zagreb route. Both first flights to Pula and Zagreb were operated with larger aircraft then originally announced. First flight to Pula was with Airbus A321 instead of announced Boeing 737-800, while the first Zagreb flight was operated with Boeing 737-900 instead of announced smaller Embraera ERJ-190.

Spanish low-cost air carrier Vueling (VY/VLG) resumed flight operations on Barcelona – Split route on Saturday, May 1st. One day later, on Sunday, May 2nd, flight operations were also resumed on Barcelona – Dubrovnik route.
Latvian air carrier airBaltic (BT/BTI) resumed flight operations on Riga – Dubrovnik route on Saturday, May 1st. On Monday, May 3rd, the resumption on Riga – Split route will follow.
British low-cost air carrier easyJet (U2/EZY) has resumed flight operations on its routes from Switzerland to Croatia one month ago. These are routes from Basel and Geneva to Split, and from Geneva to Dubrovnik. On Saturday, May 1st, easyJet resumed flight operations on its first route from Germany to Croatia this year, from Berlin to Split. This was the first arrival from the new Berlin Brandenburg – Willy Brandt Airport to Croatia.
Polish flag air carrier LOT Polish Airlines (LO/LOT), a member of Star Alliance, has resumed flight operations on the routes from Warsaw to Dubrovnik and Split. During last weekend both routes have already had a second flight.
Dutch flag air carrier KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (KL/KLM), the member of SkyTeam, has resumed flight operations on Amsterdam – Split routes before Easter. Currently this route has the biggest number of weekly flights to Croatian costal airports, up to 5 flights a week. This is also a big increase of flight operations comparing to 2019. Before the pancemic KLM had only two flights a week to Split in the pre-season period, only on weekends.
