Below is the employment tender for 16 new air traffic controllers published by Croatia Control (Croatian air traffic control services provider).
Croatia Control Ltd. is looking for 16 candidates who, after training, will form a new generation of air traffic controllers with a place of work in Velika Gorica, Croatia.

Sign in if you have:
- at least completed four years of high school
- active knowledge of Croatian and English language (level B2)
- citizenship of the Republic of Croatia or other EU member states
- year of birth from 1994 to 2003 (due to the specifics of the occupation)
- excellent health (category 3 medical fitness for aviation personnel).
Special advantages
A candidate who, according to special regulations, exercises the right of priority is obliged to refer to that right in the application and has an advantage over other candidates only under equal conditions.
Candidate invoking the right to priority in employment in accordance with Article 102 of the Act on Croatian Homeland War Veterans and Members of Their Families (Official Gazette 121/17, 98/19 and 84/21) and in accordance with Article 48 of the Law on Civilian Victims of the Homeland War (OG 84/21), along with the application, he is obliged to enclose a certificate of recognized status with proof of fulfillment of the required conditions, from which the mentioned right is visible. What to attach?
Along with the completed e-application, you need to enclose:
- request
- CV
- a copy of the certificate of completion of studies or high school or a certificate of passing the state matura exams
- a certificate of non-initiation of criminal proceedings not older than six months
- proof of work experience (HZMO electronic record)
- birth certificate or proof of citizenship of a Member State of the European Union
- a copy of the certificate or certificate of English language proficiency (evidence may be a certificate of a foreign language school, international certificate eg TOEFL, IELTS, etc., certificate of completed high school or college, state matura certificate).

Testing
Calls for testing will be made electronically or by telephone. Candidates who do not respond to the call for testing or interview will be deemed to have withdrawn their application.
Candidates who meet all the requirements of the competition will take a psychological test and check the required level of English language proficiency. If you pass, you take the FEAST / DART test.
Candidates who took the FEAST / DART tests after 27 February 2020 and were successful will be credited for the results achieved, while applications from unsuccessful candidates will not be considered in this selection process. For candidates who pass the FEST / DART tests in this selection procedure, a selection interview with a psychologist follows, after which the selected candidates are sent to the assessment center and for an interview with the selection committee.
Candidates who are selected will be referred for a medical examination to be carried out at the expense of the employer in an authorized medical institution in accordance with the medical requirements for category 3 medical fitness according to Commission Regulation (EU) 340/2015. During the initial examination, the authorized medical institution may request a health certificate from the family doctor.
Conclusion of the contract
A fixed-term employment contract will be concluded with the selected candidates until the student air traffic controller is licensed, with the suspensive condition of successfully completing the training and obtaining the said license with the prescribed authorization / special authorization. Before concluding the above contracts for the selected candidates, we will request a check for movement in the protected zone.
