Russian flag air carrier Aeroflot – Russian Airlines (SU/AFL), a member of SkyTeam Alliance, was welcomed on inauguration flight to Dubrovnik on the new route from Moscow ( Sheremetyevo Airport). Aeroflot discontinued regular flight services to Dubrovnik in 2015. The first flight was operated with Airbus A320, registered VQ-BEJ, in a special livery “CSKA Moskva” (in the pictures).
New route to Dubrovnik was originaly announced with daily flights, but according to current booking, flight operations to Dubrovnik were reduced to four flights a week, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

On the same day Aeroflot resumed flight operations on regular Moscow – Split route, which was cancelled last year because of the pandemic. The first arrival was operated with Airbus A320, registered VQ-BEH. However, compared with flight operations before the pandemic, Split route was reduced from daily flights to only three flights a week, on Tuedays, Fridays and Sundays.
Also Moscow – Pula route used to be inaugurated on the same day, but the first arrival was postponed to Thursday, June 3rd. Aeroflot has never operated regular flights to Pula, only charter flights. Also the new Pula route was annouced with daily flights, but it was reduced to three flights a week, on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays.
All three routes are offered until the end of September and will be operated with both Airbus A320 and a larger Airbus A321. Moscow – Zagreb is operated with three flights a week, without any changes, as it was previously announced.
