Aer Lingus: Summer 2020 Timetable to Croatia

Irish national air carrier Aer Lingus (EI/EIN) announced their summer timetable for 2020. The traffic on routes to Croatia remains the same as this year, with no new flights or routes planned.

This story is interesting because, the competitive Irish low cost air carrier Ryanair (FR/RYR) has started operations on two new routes in June this year, from Dublin to Dubrovnik and Split. Although Ryanair operates four new flights a week on both routes, Aer Lingus will keep the same number of weekly flights for the following summer season.

Summer timetable 2020 will have two weekly flights on route Dubrovnik – Cork, one flight a day on route Dubrovnik – Dublin, and four flights a week on the route Pula – Dublin. Route Dubrovnik – Dublin will start with operations two weeks earlier compared with this year, starting from April 3rd, 2020.

There will be four flights a week on route Dublin-Split, but operational days will change. Currently, both competitive air carriers are flying on the same days: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Aer Lingus announced the change for next year, switching the operations to Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Ryanair’s summer timetable for 2020 is still unknown.

Air tickets are currently for sale until June 2020, therefore, we don’t know when the seasonal operations will end. All routes will be operated on Airbus A320 aircraft (in the picture and video).
