Condor bids farewell to the Boeing 757 after 35 years of flying

This autumn, Condor will close an important chapter of its history. In November 2025, the airline will retire its last Boeing 757-300, marking the end of the Boeing era at Condor after a total of 35 years. The moment carries strong symbolism not only for aviation enthusiasts but also for generations of employees who have flown, maintained, and supported these legendary aircraft.

To commemorate the end of an era, Condor will operate a special farewell flight with the final Boeing 757-300 on November 5. The flight will depart from Frankfurt to Vienna, where a dedicated event will be held in honor of the aircraft type. The return sector will turn into what Condor describes as “the world’s highest party.” A total of 75 tickets for this unique experience have been made available via auction on the Condor Shop, starting September 22.

“By saying goodbye to the Boeing 757, we are closing one era at Condor, while at the same time opening a new chapter with a more modern, efficient, and sustainable Airbus fleet. Moreover, Condor has long outgrown the framework of being solely a leisure airline, which is also reflected in our expanded network with new city routes. That is why our farewell flight combines nostalgia for the last B757 with joy for the future, symbolized by Vienna as the destination,” said Christian Schmitt, Condor’s Chief Operations Officer.

For those unable to secure a seat on the special flight, the last chance to fly on this aircraft type will be during regular operations until early November. According to current plans, Condor will continue to operate six Boeing 757-300s through the end of October on routes from Düsseldorf and Frankfurt to popular destinations such as Palma de Mallorca, Hurghada, Fuerteventura, and Gran Canaria. The final scheduled flights are planned for Düsseldorf–Palma–Düsseldorf on October 29 and Frankfurt–Hurghada–Frankfurt on November 2, 2025.
