Norwegian Nowegian Air Shuttle (DY/NAX) resumes flight operations to Croatia on Wednesday July 1st. However, flight operations to Croatia are significantly reduced comparing with last year. There aren’t any flights to Pula, Rijeka, Zadar and Zagreb for this summer season. All four destiantions were previously operated by Norwegian.

The first arrival is on Wednesday, July 1, on the flight no. DY1992 from Oslo to Split. This route will be operated with only two flights a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, which is 5 flights per week less then last year when this route was operated on a daily basis. Stockholm – Split route will be resumed on Saturday, July 4 with only one flight a week. The third and last Split – Copenhagen route will start with flight operations one week later, on Saturday July 11, with additional flights on Wednesdays from August. All three routes were operated daily last year.
The second and last destination of Norwegian in Croatia will be Dubrovnik, with just one route from Oslo. This route will start with flight operations on Saturday July 4, with only two weekly flights on Tuesdays and Saturdays instead of daily flights last year. Norwegian operated another 8 routes to Dubrovnik last year, which aren’t currently in offer for summer this year.
All other routes to Croatia from Barcelona, Bergen, Gothenburg, Helsinki, London, Stavanger and Trondheim aren’t in offer for this year’s summer at all. Madrid – Dubrovnik route was cancelled last year and it wasn’t planned for this year at all.
At the same time Norwegian has cancelled its Boeing order for remaining 92 Boeing 737MAX8s and 5 Boeing 787 Dreamliners.
