Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer has announced strong financial results for the fourth quarter and full year 2024, achieving significant growth across all business sectors. Revenue for the last quarter reached $2.311 billion, while total annual revenue hit a record $6.395 billion, marking a 21% increase compared to the previous year. The Defense & Security segment stood out with a 40% revenue growth. Adjusted operating profit (EBIT) for Q4 was $265.1 million, with an 11.5% margin, while full-year EBIT reached $708.2 million, with an 11.1% margin, surpassing previous forecasts.
During the fourth quarter of 2024, Embraer delivered 75 aircraft, including 31 commercial and 44 executive jets. In total, 206 aircraft were delivered throughout 2024, representing a 14% increase compared to 2023 and confirming the company’s delivery targets in both the commercial and executive aviation segments.
Order backlogs reached a record $26.3 billion, a 40% increase year-over-year and a 16% rise compared to the previous quarter, reflecting strong market demand and confidence in Embraer’s products.
Looking ahead to 2025, Embraer forecasts further growth, with expected deliveries of 77 to 85 commercial aircraft and 145 to 155 executive jets. Projected revenue for the next year is estimated between $7.0 billion and $7.5 billion, while the adjusted EBIT margin is expected to be between 7.5% and 8.3%.
CEO Francisco Gomes Neto noted that supply chain challenges have impacted targets but anticipates improvements in production throughout 2025. The strong 2024 performance and optimistic 2025 outlook reaffirm Embraer’s leading position in the global aerospace industry.
