Hungarian low-cost air carrier Wizz Air (W6/WZZ) has a problem with the lack of aircraft in its fleet. More than 40 planes are grounded because of engine problems. For that reason, Wizz Air has removed from booking three routes to Dubrovnik, from Vienna, London and Wrocław. Only one route from Warsaw is still offered with two flights per week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays from June 18 to September 28 this year.
Route from Poznań to Split was previously discontined and it wasn’t offered at all for the summer timetable of this year. There aren’t any additional route cancelations to Split. However, all pre-seasonal flights are cancelled on all routes to Split, except the route from Warsaw. All other routes are now available from June or July instead of previously announced seasonal start-up from March 31. There are 10 routes offered to Split, from: Gdańsk, Katowice, Krakow, Lublin, Warsaw, Wrocław, Vilnius, Rome, Vienna and London.
