Zagreb, Tuesday, 30 July 2024 – Croatia Airlines is set to receive the first of 15 Airbus A220 aircraft ordered today. The aircraft will arrive directly from the Airbus factory in Mirabel, Canada, with a technical stop in Copenhagen. Departing from Montreal yesterday at 22:00 CET, the plane is expected to touch down in Zagreb at 09:55 today. The aircraft is operated by an Airbus crew, who will also hand over the aircraft.
The inaugural A220-300, bearing the registration number 9A-CAE and named “Zagreb,” first took to the skies on July 9, 2024, under the test registration number C-FPBE. The aircraft is scheduled for its first commercial flight on August 6, servicing the Zagreb-Split route.
