It is official, Croatia Airlines’ first Airbus A220 arrives on 30 July, 2024

Croatia Airlines will welcome a new addition to its fleet on Tuesday, July 30, 2024. The arrival of the new Airbus A220 aircraft marks the beginning of a comprehensive fleet renewal. The plane is expected to land at Zagreb Airport around 10 a.m., arriving directly from the Airbus production facilities in Mirabel, Canada.

This event is one of the most significant projects in the history of Croatia Airlines. The current Airbus A319, Airbus A320, and De Havilland Canada Dash 8-400 aircraft will be phased out over the next few years. The new fleet will not only enhance passenger comfort with quieter cabins but also reduce environmental impact. The A220s consume less fuel, leading to lower emissions of harmful gases. AvioRadar will cover the arrival of the aircraft extensively, providing a detailed report on this milestone for Croatian civil aviation.
