On April 17, 2025, Franjo Tuđman Airport achieved its highest daily passenger count in history, with a total of 16,580 passengers. This surpassed the previous record of 16,197 passengers set on June 14, 2024.
In the first quarter of 2025, the airport handled 856,966 passengers, marking a 7.69% increase compared to the same period the previous year, when 795,750 passengers were recorded. The past year was historic as Zagreb’s airport exceeded the 4 million passenger milestone for the first time, reaching exactly 4,316,619. This also marked the first time any Croatian airport had surpassed 4 million passengers in a single year.
For the 2025 summer season, the airport will be connected to 70 destinations in 31 countries, served by 20 airlines. Last year, to accommodate growing demand and improve service quality, 15 additional check-in counters and other infrastructure upgrades were installed to streamline passenger flow.
