Croatia Airlines to expand its network to 32 European destinations in summer 2026

Croatia Airlines is preparing for further network expansion in the upcoming 2026 summer season, announcing increases in both flight numbers and available seats, supported by the growing introduction of its new Airbus A220 fleet. The seven A220s currently in operation are already reshaping capacity and scheduling, and a further seven aircraft are expected to join during 2026, significantly influencing the carrier’s overall operations.

Between 29 March and 24 October 2026, the airline plans to operate more than 19,290 flights – around six percent more than last summer. Over 2.39 million seats will be offered, representing a nine percent increase year-on-year. The network will cover 32 international destinations, or 33 European airports, across a total of 55 scheduled international routes.

Two new seasonal routes have been announced: Nantes – Split, operating on Tuesdays and Fridays, and Stuttgart – Dubrovnik, operated on Mondays and Fridays. Both routes launch with promotional fares – return tickets from €169 on Nantes – Split, and from €139 on Stuttgart – Dubrovnik. Tickets are available on the airline’s official website and mobile app.

Zagreb will be connected to 23 international destinations during the summer peak. Among them are Amsterdam, Athens (via Dubrovnik), Barcelona, Vienna, Berlin, Brussels, Bucharest, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Hamburg, London Heathrow, Madrid, Milan, Mostar, Munich, Paris, Prague, Rome (via Split or Dubrovnik), Sarajevo, Skopje, Stockholm, Tirana, and Zurich. Compared with this year, the airline will offer around 144,000 additional seats to and from Zagreb – one of the largest capacity increases in recent years.

Split will feature the broadest seasonal network, linking the city with 20 international destinations and 21 airports. In addition to established routes to Frankfurt, Munich, Paris, Amsterdam, London, Copenhagen, Rome, and others, the new route to Nantes stands out. Overall, capacity on Split flights will grow by around ten percent, reflecting continually rising demand for Adriatic travel.

Dubrovnik will be connected directly with eight European cities in summer 2026: Athens, Frankfurt, Munich, Paris, Prague, Rome, Stuttgart, and Zurich, underscoring stable demand for services to southern Croatia.

Croatia Airlines will also continue to operate its year-round routes Rijeka – Munich and Osijek – Munich, maintaining essential connectivity between Croatian regions and one of Germany’s key hubs.

The carrier’s plans for summer 2026 highlight a period of intensified growth driven by fleet modernisation and capacity expansion, with Zagreb, Split, and Dubrovnik strengthening their roles as Croatia’s primary gateways to Europe.
