On Monday September 25, a partnership agreement was signed in Zagreb on the project to establish A-CDM (Airport Collaborative Decision Making) between the most important stakeholders of Franjo Tuđman Airport, i.e. the airport operator (MZLZ d.d.), Croatia Airlines, Crocontrol and Havas of ground services.
A-CDM is a global concept of cooperation of the involved stakeholders/partners of the airport, through the process of timely exchange of information, adapted procedures, and tools. The application of CDM optimizes the use of resources, enhances the prediction of operational situations, and improves the airport’s overall operational efficiency.

According to Eurocontrol, the A-CDM agreement has been signed in 32 airports in Europe, which include Amsterdam, Barcelona, Bergamo, Berlin Brandenburg, Brussels, Copenhagen, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Geneva, Hamburg, Helsinki, Lisbon, London Heathrow, Lyon, Madrid, Málaga, Milan Linate, Milan Malpensa, Munich, Naples, Nice, Oslo, Palma de Mallorca, Paris CDG, Paris Orly, Prague, Riga, Rome Fiumicino, Stuttgart, Venice, Warsaw and Zurich.
A-CDM also allows the exchange of more accurate departure information, particularly target take-off times, with the European ATFCM network, leading to improved en-route and sectoral planning.
