A Cessna 525A CitationJet CJ2 reg 9A-JSC, owned by the Croatian private company Jung Sky, had an accident last night in Antwerp, Belgium after landing from Naples, Italy.

According to the Aviation24.be, after landing on runway 11, the aircraft failed to stop and proceeded to the grass surface after the USS.

Light snow was falling in Antwerp at the time of landing.

Jung Sky confirmed the incident.

“We can confirm that on Saturday, January 30, 2021, at 20:57 local time, our aircraft with registration 9A-JSC overrun the runway to the grassy area, after landing at the airport in Antwerp, Belgium in difficult weather conditions.

There was one passenger on board the plane with a two-member crew, and neither the passenger nor the crew were injured.

At the moment, the aircraft is in the hangar in Antwerp under inspection by an authorized organization for maintenance of this type of aircraft. An official investigation is underway and we will have more information in the coming days about the causes of this event. “- they said.
