Fifth arrival of SF Airlines Boeing 747F to Zagreb

On Thursday, April 23th around 10AM, the Chinese air carrier SF Airlines (O3/CSS) arrived with Boeing 747-400F Jumbo Jet at Zagreb Airport. This was a direct Shanghai Pu Dong Airport – Zagreb flight, on the air bridge between China and Croatia, delivering medical equipment used in the fight against the coronavirus.

We have learned from the Croatian Government that this amount of medical equipment was mostly bought from companies MEHECO and Sinopharm. Some of it was also a donation from Chinese cities and counties to Croatian towns and counties: Yangzhou city to Korčula and Dubrovnik, Dongtai city to Opatija and Jiangxi County to Zadar County.

Yangzhou City is a friend city with Korčula, and Yangzhou policemen were a part of a “Safe Touristic Season” project in Croatia last year. During the summer season, they joined Croatian Police in partoling at Plitvice Lakes, Dubrovnik, Zadar and Zagreb.

This delivery also includes donation to hospitals in Slavonski Brod and Zagreb, collected by Beijing University of Foreign Affairs, were the study of Croatian language has been included for more then 10 years.

There were 57 tons of medical equipment on this delivery.
