Korean air carrier Tway Air (TW/TWB) officially started with flight ticket sales for the new route from Seoul to Zagreb. This new route will be opearted with 3 flights per week, on Tuedays, Thursdays and Saturdays, from May 18 to October 26 this year. The flight from Seoul (Incheon Airport) to Zagreb will have a technical landing in Bishkek, capital of Kyrgyzstan, while the return flight from Zagreb to Seoul will be operated non-stop. This route is annouced to be operated with Airbus A330-300.
Zagreb will be the first destination in Europe served by this airline. So far they have operated flights to 45 destinations in Asia, Australia and Oceania. This air carrier was founded in 2005 under the previous name Hansung Airlines, and it was rebranded and renamed to Tway Air in 2010. Currently they have following planes in their fleet: 3 Airbus A330-300, 25 Boeing 737-800 and 2 new Boeing 737-8 MAX.
