The eighth Rafale aircraft arrived in Croatia

On Wednesday, December 11, 2024, the eighth Rafale multi-role combat aircraft landed at the “Colonel Marko Živković” barracks in Pleso, as part of the most significant strategic modernization project of the Croatian Air Force. On that occasion, Brigadier Christian Jagodić, Commander of the 91st Wing of the Croatian Air Force, emphasized that the arrival of each new Rafale aircraft in Croatia is an exceptional moment for the Croatian Air Force, our Air Force, the Croatian Army and the overall security of the Republic of Croatia, and that it makes us stronger partners of the NATO alliance.

The Squadron is planned to be complete by the end of April 2025, by which time all twelve Rafale aircraft (ten single-seaters and two two-seaters) are planned to arrive in Croatia. The Croatian Air Force also includes a new simulator that enables a full range of training and validation of tactics, as well as ground and test equipment, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Croatia said in a press release.
