Irish low-cost air carrier Ryanair (FR/RYR) discontinued Bergamo – Rijeka route for the summer timetable next year. This was the only route from Italy to Rijeka with two flights a week and it it no longer offered for next year. This is the fourth discontinued Ryanair’s route to Croatia for next year, however in the meantime, 30 new routes to Croatia were announced recently. The new Vienna – Rijeka route was also announced recently with 2 flights per week.

However, the begining of flight operations on all remaining Ryanair’s routes to Rijeka is postponed for two months, to the begining of June. Flight tickets were previously offered from March 31. Also flight operations will finish by the end of September, one month earlier then previously planned. Ryanair currently offers 4 routes to Rijeka: from Brussels (Charleroi Airport), London (Stansted Airport), Stockholm (Arlanda Airport), and a new route from Vienna.
