As part of the ceremonial celebration of the Statehood Day of the Republic of Croatia and the 34th anniversary of the establishment of the Croatian Armed Forces, the citizens of Zagreb and visitors of the Jarun Recreational-Sports Center can expect a true highlight of the festivities—an impressive flyover by multirole Rafale fighter jets. This event, scheduled for Friday 30 May, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, is one of the most attractive points of the rich program.
Before the flyover, visitors of Jarun will be able to enjoy a full-day program. From 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, an exhibition of Croatian Armed Forces weapons, vehicles, and equipment will be organized, while at 12:00 PM, the traditional bean stew will be served to all attendees. At 5:00 PM, dynamic demonstrations of military unit capabilities will begin, and from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, the main attraction—the Rafale flyover—is expected. Simultaneously, a concert by the Jazz Orchestra will take place, concluding the celebration in a festive and pleasant atmosphere.
The Ministry of Defense (MORH) informs citizens that increased noise can be expected in Zagreb from 26 May to 30 May, during the preparation and execution of military exercises, particularly during the flyover.
This anniversary is a special occasion not only to honor those who fought for Croatia’s freedom but also to showcase the strength and modernity of the Croatian Armed Forces, which today represent one of the pillars of the country’s security and stability.
