Pilatus PC-12 PRO introduced

Pilatus has introduced a new version of its aircraft – the Pilatus PC-12 PRO. It is an aircraft with a completely redesigned cockpit equipped with a number of innovative safety features, such as Autoland for emergencies, Smart Glide, Stall Warning & Protection System and Electronic Stability.

The aircraft is powered by one of the most reliable engines – Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6. More than 60,000 of these engines are in use, with more than 400 million flight hours, and the same has been thoroughly tested in over eleven million flight hours in previous versions of the Pilatus PC-12 aircraft. The fully automatic Electronic Engine and Propeller Control System (EPECS) and the Autothrottle System, digital thrust control, in addition to significantly contributing to safety, further reduce pilot workload, optimize aircraft performance, increase fuel efficiency, create less carbon dioxide emissions and ensure a quieter flying experience.

Furthermore, a new finish has been made to the passenger compartment and cockpit interior with improved external visibility and new color schemes have been used. The cabin and cockpit thus combine modern design with exceptional comfort.

At the heart of the new Pilatus PC-12 PRO is the updated “Advanced Cockpit Environment” system powered by the Garmin G3000 PRIME Integrated Flight Deck. The integration of the above-mentioned set of Garmin advanced safety functions and features provides an exceptionally high level of safety and makes it easier for pilots to control the aircraft in all flight conditions. The cockpit is also equipped with three large high-resolution, touch-sensitive displays and two secondary displays.

According to the above features, the Pilatus PC-12 PRO is currently the most advanced aircraft with the best features in its single-engine aircraft class. The aircraft has been certified, and its first deliveries to customers will begin in the last quarter of this year.
