This June, Paris will once again become the global hub of the aviation industry as the 55th edition of the International Paris Air Show takes place from June 16 to 22, 2025, at Le Bourget Airport. This is the most important global event for a sector undergoing profound technological, environmental, and strategic transformation. Nearly 2,400 exhibitors from 48 countries are expected to attend, making this not only the largest event of its kind but also the most dynamic platform for global dialogue, business cooperation, and showcasing innovation.
This year’s show comes at a time marked by the resurgence of international air travel, the pressures of climate change, geopolitical uncertainty, and the rapid development of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and quantum computing. For these reasons, organizers emphasize that this edition is more important than ever – as a space for collaboration and collective reflection on the future of both civil and military aviation, as well as the European space industry.
One of the key innovations in 2025 is the Paris Space Hub – a new pavilion dedicated to space, covering 2,500 square meters and bringing together leading agencies, startups, and industry players, including ESA and CNES. This space will become a new focal point for discussions on sovereignty, defense, international cooperation, and sustainability in space. At the same time, the Paris Air Lab returns – a laboratory of ideas dedicated to innovation in sustainable air transport, offering a rich program of demonstrations, panels, and interactive content.
The show also remains strongly focused on employment and education. Through initiatives like “Careers Plane”, “Aéro Recrute”, and the special “Women in Aerospace” program, organizers aim to bring aerospace and aviation professions closer to the general public and promote diversity and inclusion in the sector. Friday, June 20, will be dedicated to connecting young people and job seekers with the industry through free admission and specialized activities.
An essential part of the show are the spectacular flight demonstrations, held in front of the audience and VIP guests from over 300 international delegations. Visitors will have the opportunity to see more than 150 aircraft on static display and in flight, including civil airliners like the Airbus A350 and Boeing 787, the latest fighter jets such as the Rafale and Eurofighter Typhoon, helicopters like the H145 and NH90, as well as revolutionary electric and hybrid aircraft, drones, and next-generation mobility prototypes from a range of startups and research centers.
The International Paris Air Show is not just an industry event – it is a window into the future of mobility, defense, transportation, and exploration. This year, once again, Le Bourget will become the place where visions, innovations, and a passion for the sky, flight, and space converge.
