The Polish airline LOT is marking the 60th anniversary of its regular air service between Warsaw and Zagreb this month. The inaugural flight on this route took off on 7 April 1965, initially operating just once a week as part of the Warsaw-Zagreb-Rome route. Today, as part of its summer flight schedule, LOT offers as many as 13 weekly flights between the two cities, demonstrating significant traffic growth over the past decades.
To celebrate this milestone, LOT has prepared a special promotional campaign for travelers. From 1 April to 7 April 2025, passengers can book discounted economy-class tickets across the airline’s entire network by using the promo code LOT60. The promotion is valid for travel between 7 April and 14 December 2025.
This route holds special historical significance as it was one of the first regular air connections between Croatia and Central Europe in the second half of the 20th century. Over the years, it has become an important link for both business travelers and tourists, providing fast and convenient service between the two capitals.
Today, LOT offers modern aircraft, high-quality service, and quick connections in Warsaw to other European and global destinations on this route. Travel reservations can be made through the airline’s official website at www.lot.com/hr/en.
