Kvarner flavors return on Croatia Airlines flights

The Kvarner Tourist Board and Croatia Airlines are once again launching the “Flavors of Kvarner” project this year, through which meals inspired by Kvarner cuisine will be served on the national airline’s flights from August 1st to November 30th, 2025.

In economy class on international flights, passengers will receive crackers flavored with Kvarner herbs, while business class passengers on both domestic and international flights will be served a large or small snack, depending on the flight duration. The large meal includes Kvarner herb crackers, tuna pâté, green olive tapenade, dried fig balls, and muštaćoni (traditional Kvarner cookies), while the small meal includes Kvarner herb crackers, tuna pâté, and muštaćoni. The meals come in specially designed boxes featuring motifs of the Kvarner region and include a QR code for downloading the “Visit Kvarner” app, allowing passengers to explore the destination during their flight.

During this year’s summer season, Croatia Airlines plans to operate over 18,200 flights, offering more than 2.26 million seats. The Croatian capital is directly connected to 23 international destinations, with a total of 30 international routes and links to 31 European airports.
