“Hidden” air carrier registered in Croatia – FlyAir 41

Today we present to you the youngest Croatian airline, with the full name Fly Air41 Airways d.o.o. founded in August 2021, in the middle of the global crisis caused by the coronavirus. The headquarters of this ACMI/charter company is in Zagreb, and the bases they use for their operations are in German cities Bremen, Dresden and Dusseldorf. Currently, they also operate from Kassel.

The airline is a sister company of Sundair and operate completely independently in Croatia. They are majority-owned by the German tour operator Schauinsland-Reisen. On 18 August 2021 they obtained an AOC, and the first flight was on 20 August 2021 on behalf of Sundair, for which they continue to operate to this day.

In 2023, Fly Air 41 made a total of over 9,000.00 flights.

They currently employ over 225 crew members – cabin and cockpit, and due to the rapid growth of the fleet, they are looking for new members. The company is proud of its multinational environment. Namely, employees come from more than 15 countries around the world.

In the last summer season, they operated 2 planes for Condor Airlines, and the company says that the cooperation will also continue this year to mutual satisfaction.

Some of the interesting destinations they fly to are Palma PMI, Las Palmas LPA, Tenerife South TFS, Fuertventura FUE, Hurgada HRG, Antalya AYT, Beyrut BEY, and many others in the summer flight schedule. This winter, ZAG operated charter flights from Zagreb to Porto OPO, Marrakech RAK and Rovaniemi RVN. There are also new destinations planned from Zagreb Airport.

The company emphasizes its orientation to high quality of business and high safety standards, which is why they worked hard for several months to obtain the IOSA certificate, which they expect at the beginning of February 2024. This will certainly provide new opportunities on the market.
