Flightradar24, the world’s leading flight tracking service, has announced that it has agreed to supply flight data services to the US aerospace giant Boeing. The agreement provides Boeing with access to Flightradar24’s extensive live and historical flight data, based on its global network of more than 55,000 ADS-B receivers.
Flightradar24 notes that the collaboration represents an important recognition of the quality and reliability of its data. For years, the company has been serving a broad range of aviation industry users, including airlines, airports, aircraft manufacturers, and other stakeholders, while at the same time operating the world’s most popular flight tracking platform with more than five million users per day.
For Boeing, and specifically its Global Services division, the agreement marks another step in the development of digital services focused on improving fleet efficiency and maintenance performance. By integrating Flightradar24 data with its existing analytics tools, Boeing aims to provide customers with deeper operational insights and added value in aircraft performance optimization and maintenance planning.
Founded in 2006 and headquartered in Stockholm, Flightradar24 today tracks more than 250,000 flights per day. Its infrastructure represents the largest ADS-B receiver network in the world, while the service’s mobile applications have been downloaded more than 100 million times. This combination of a massive user base and professional-grade data services has positioned Flightradar24 as one of the key providers of flight data in the global aviation industry.
