Croatian MoD is hiring military pilots

The Croatian Ministry of Defense (MoD) has announced a call for the direct recruitment of candidates for military pilots. This is a unique opportunity for young, interested candidates to join the most prestigious role in the Croatian Air Force without having previously gone through the cadet program.

The Croatian MoD is accepting applications for 10 candidates to become officers – military pilots. Applicants must have at least a completed university undergraduate or professional degree in any field and meet the general requirements for admission to the Armed Forces of the Republic of Croatia as stipulated by law.

The age limit for applicants is a maximum of 27 years by the end of 2025. Candidates who have not completed the voluntary military training program will be directed to appropriate training, but they must first complete preparatory training, including selection flights. Afterward, selected candidates will undergo Basic Officer Training, after which they will be admitted to active military service with the rank of first officer.

The training and future duty station will be within the territory of the Republic of Croatia. Applicants must submit the following documents along with their signed application: a CV, a certified copy of their diploma, a confirmation from the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute (HZMO), proof of Croatian citizenship (copy of ID card or passport), birth certificate, and a certificate confirming they are not under criminal investigation (not older than six months).

Before being assigned to training, candidates will undergo a special selection process in accordance with the Law and Regulations on health, psychological, physical, and security requirements for admission to the Croatian Armed Forces. Candidates who do not meet all conditions will be excluded from the process.
