Croatia’s national carrier, Croatia Airlines, will introduce year-round flights between Zagreb and Barcelona starting at the end of October, transforming the previously seasonal route, which operated only during the summer months, into a service available throughout the winter. This new phase of connectivity between Croatia and Spain was presented on October 22 in the capital of Catalonia, in cooperation with the Croatian National Tourist Board and the Zagreb Tourist Board.
Flights on the Zagreb – Barcelona route will operate three times per week – on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays – from October 26, 2025, until March 28, 2026. Return tickets are available on the airline’s official website, starting at 149 euros.
This winter, Croatia Airlines is expanding its international network by increasing the number of weekly operations and available seats compared to the previous winter season. In addition to Barcelona, year-round services are being introduced to Berlin and Stockholm as well. The winter timetable includes nearly 10,000 flights with around 1.18 million seats in total, representing a 7.7% increase in flights and a 21% increase in seat capacity compared to the same period last year.
During the 2025/2026 winter timetable, Croatia Airlines will operate flights from Zagreb to a total of 16 international destinations, including Amsterdam, Vienna, Brussels, Frankfurt, London, Paris, Rome, Stockholm, and Zurich. The presentation in Barcelona highlighted the importance of this air link for tourism and economic development, reaffirming Croatia Airlines’ role as a key promoter of Croatia on the international market.
