Announcement by Croatia Airlines on the occasion of the opening of a new route to Stockholm: „Croatia Airlines, the Croatian national airline and member of Star Alliance, introduced today a new seasonal route Stockholm – Zagreb. Special ceremony was held at Zagreb Airport, where the first passengers from Stockholm were welcomed, who arrived in Zagreb at 1:15 p.m. on the Airbus 319 aircraft.
Croatia Airlines will directly connect the capitals of Croatia and Sweden three times a week (on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays) until the middle of October this year, and passengers on this line can get round-trip tickets from 159 euros on the website www.croatiaairlines .com.
On the occasion of the introduction of the new line, Croatia Airlines gave all passengers on today’s flights OU486 Zagreb – Stockholm and OU487 Stockholm – Zagreb a gift voucher with a 20 percent discount, which can be used when buying a ticket for the next trip on this line.
In addition to the direct seasonal flights from Zagreb to Stockholm, the Croatian national airline is introducing two new seasonal routes from Zagreb this year: on Tuesday, 21 May, the first flight on the new route from Zagreb to Berlin is planned, with three flights a week (Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays), and on 14 June 2024, a third new line Zagreb – Tirana will be introduced, with two flights a week (Fridays and Sundays).
During this year’s tourist season, Croatia Airlines will connect the capital Zagreb with a total of 18 international destinations: Amsterdam, Athens (via Dubrovnik), Barcelona, Vienna, Berlin, Brussels, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, London (Heathrow), Mostar, Munich, Paris, Rome (via Split and via Dubrovnik), Sarajevo, Skopje, Stockholm, Tirana and Zurich.
During the tourist season, Croatia Airlines plans to connect Croatia with a total of 28 international destinations, i.e. 29 European airports, and the planes will fly on 50 international routes. In total, more than 17,200 flights are planned, and there will be almost 2 million seats offered.“
