Contract signed on renewal of Zagreb-Mostar flights

On April 19, 2023, JP International Airport – Mostar Airport Ltd. and Croatia Airlines signed an agreement on the introduction of a regular Mostar – Zagreb route. The contract was signed on the basis of a tender for regular international scheduled air transport services on the mentioned route, and was signed by Ivan Ljubić, director of the Mostar airport and Jasmin Bajić, president of the Croatian national carrier.

Mostar Mayor Darko Kordić, Mostar City Council President Salem Marić and representatives of Hifa Oil, the largest oil distributor in Bosnia and Herzegovina, were also present at the ceremony.

Regular international flights Mostar – Zagreb are introduced on May 3 this year, and will be operated three times a week. Croatia Airlines’ aircraft will depart from Mostar to Zagreb on Mondays and Fridays at 6:00 a.m., and on Wednesdays at 1:05 p.m. Flights from Zagreb to Mostar are planned on Wednesdays at 11:25 a.m., while on Thursdays and Sundays evening flights departing from Zagreb at 11 p.m. will be available to passengers. Flights will be operated with a Dash 8-Q400 aircraft, with capacity of 76 passengers.

Return air tickets for Mostar – Zagreb flights are available at a promotional price starting at 119 euros.

Mostar is the 24th European destination to which Croatia Airlines planes will fly directly during this year’s regular passenger traffic season. It is worth reminding that the Croatian national airline already operated on this route. The flights were launched in May 2018, but were suspended in March 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
