Another mission of the aviation component of the 42nd Croatian contingent in Kosovo has begun

On Sunday, November 17, 2024, from the “Knez Trpimir” barracks in Divulje, the aviation component of the 42nd Croatian contingent was sent to the Republic of Kosovo as part of the NATO peace support operation KFOR. The Croatian contingent, stationed at the Slatina airport in Pristina, will primarily transport KFOR forces, VIPs and cargo as needed by helicopter.

Major Nikola Gažo, commander of the aviation component from the 395th squadron of transport helicopters of the 93rd wing of the Croatian Air Force, stated that this is another mission in a series and that the members of the contingent are prepared for the implementation of the mission itself.
