Airbus delivered 793 commercial aircraft worldwide in 2025, representing a four percent increase compared with 2024. Aircraft were handed over to a total of 91 customers, while the Commercial Aircraft business recorded 1,000 gross orders from 57 customers during the year, or 889 net orders after cancellations.
By the end of December 2025, the total order backlog reached a new record of 8,754 aircraft, underlining strong and sustained demand across Airbus’ product portfolio. The widebody segment was particularly notable, with the backlog rising to 1,124 aircraft, the highest level ever recorded. During the year, Airbus once again achieved a book-to-bill ratio above one.
Despite a continued complex and dynamic operating environment, 2025 saw a further upward trend in deliveries and several significant milestones. New operators introduced the A220, A321XLR, A330neo and A350-1000 into service across all global regions, while Airbus secured repeat orders from existing customers and attracted new buyers in both the single-aisle and widebody segments.
The order intake in 2025 was broadly spread across the product range. Customers ordered 49 A220 aircraft, 656 aircraft from the A320 Family, 100 A330neos, two A330 MRTT multi-role tanker transports, and 193 A350s. This mix highlights Airbus’ strong position in the single-aisle market alongside steady demand for its modern widebody aircraft.
Delivery figures by aircraft family show consistent growth between 2023 and 2025. The A220 Family increased from 68 deliveries in 2023 to 75 in 2024 and reached 93 aircraft in 2025. The A320 Family remained the backbone of production, with 571 deliveries in 2023, 602 in 2024 and 607 aircraft delivered in 2025. In the widebody segment, A330 deliveries rose modestly from 32 aircraft in both 2023 and 2024 to 36 in 2025, while the A350 recorded 64 deliveries in 2023 before stabilising at 57 aircraft in both 2024 and 2025. Overall deliveries grew from 735 aircraft in 2023 to 766 in 2024 and reached 793 aircraft in 2025.
Airbus will publish its full-year financial results for 2025 on 19 February 2026.
