Air France introduces new La Premiere cabin

Air France is set to significantly improve the first-class passenger experience. The airline unveiled its most exclusive La Premiere cabin this week. It will gradually introduce four fully customizable La Premiere cabin compartments to its Boeing 777-300ER fleet from spring 2025. Each compartment is approximately 3.5 square meters in size and has five windows equipped with electric blinds. The feeling of spaciousness is enhanced by two floor-level storage compartments that have replaced the overhead bins. The large sliding storage drawer can hold two carry-on suitcases and shoes. Complete privacy and a quiet ambience will be ensured by an electric sliding partition and a thick curtain that will enclose each compartment from floor to ceiling. The La Premiere cabin will be located at the front of the aircraft.

Passengers in the La Premiere cabin will have access to a seat in the private compartment, a bed that can be converted into a bed measuring two meters long and 75 centimeters wide, a table and two 4K screens that provide more than 1,500 hours of in-flight entertainment. The seat is fully adjustable for each phase of the flight: takeoff, landing, dining and relaxation during the cruise phase of the flight. Subtle ambient lighting also accompanies each phase of the flight. The compartment is also equipped with 110V/220V electrical outlets, USB-A and USB-C ports, wireless charging stations and dedicated holders for smartphones or tablets. Free WiFi will be available to La Premier passengers throughout the journey.

Benjamin Smith, CEO of the Air France-KLM Group, said on this occasion: “The launch of our new La Première experience is a major step in our strategic plan. We continue to invest in cutting-edge products for our customers at every step of their journey, with the aim of positioning Air France at the highest level in the world. With a new private ground experience at Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport and a completely redesigned La Première suite, larger than ever, this new experience is truly the ultimate expression of travel. It is further enhanced by our dedicated staff, who strive to make every journey an exceptional moment. In the future, we will make this new product available on more aircraft and more destinations, which is proof of our commitment to excellence.

La Premiere is designed to transform passengers’ journeys into truly unforgettable experiences. La Premiere follows the entire journey, from the stay and service in the spacious La Premiere airport lounges to the spacious private sections described in the La Premiere cabin of the aircraft, with a top-notch gastronomic offer and a wide selection of fine wines and champagnes. La Premiere lounges are currently available at Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Abidjan, Dubai, Los Angeles, Miami, New York-JFK, San Francisco, Sao Paolo, Singapore Tokyo-Haneda and Washington DC.

The cabin has been developed down to the smallest detail over three years. High-quality and fine materials have been used, and everything is further enhanced by a unique design with details in the Air France colors.

The first 777-300ER equipped with the La Premiere cabin, named Epernay, will fly from Paris to New York from spring 2025, Air France said in a press release. During the 2025 summer season, the number of destinations served by the aircraft will increase, including Los Angeles, Singapore and Tokyo-Haneda.
