Aegean Airlines announced winter flights to Dubrovnik

Greek flag air carrier Aegean Ailines (A3/AEE), a member of Star Alliance, hasn’t yet started with seasonal flight operations to Croatia, but they already offered new flights for the upcomming winter timetable. Aegean has scheduled flight operations resumption on Athens – Dubrovnik route from May 17th with three flights a week, on Tuedays, Thursdays and Saturdays, with additional fourth flight a week on Mondays in the peak summer season. Earlier they also announced new Thessaloniki – Dubrovnik route with three flights a week, on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays from July 1st.

New in their offer are winter flights on Athens – Dubrovnik route, two times a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays, from November 1st to January 6th of next year. Aegean is currently the first air carrier to offer new winter flights to Dubrovnik. They already operated winter flights to Dubrovnik, but those were discontinued on January 4th, 2020, before the pandemic started.

Aegean also plans to resume flight operations on Athens – Zagreb route from June 16th with two flights a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Flight operations on this route were discontuned before the pandemic. Now one flight a week less is scheduled then before the pandemic, but the capacity is bigger because a larger Airbus A320 and Airbus A320Neo (in the picture) are announced instead of the smaller Bombardier Q400, which were operated to Zagreb before the pandemic.
