Zagreb will be connected with 50 destinations during the 2021/2022 winter timetable

This weekend begins the winter timetable 2021/2022, in which Zagreb will be connected with 50 destinations, 5 in domestic and 45 in international traffic.

After several months of decline and stagnation of traffic caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Zagreb Airport recorded a gradual traffic recovery in summer 2021  through a significant increase in the number of passengers, an increase in the number of destinations, the openings of new routes, and an increase in weekly frequencies on the existing routes compared to 2020.

In the last part of the summer timetable, at the beginning of September, Ryanair launched nine new routes as part of the announced expansion and basing of another aircraft in Zagreb, and it also announced 9 more new routes for the first half of December 2021: Dublin, Manchester, Eindhoven, Basel, Malaga, Paphos, Malta, Naples, and Thessaloniki.

At the end of September this year, Flydubai relaunched the Dubai – Zagreb route with flights twice a week and announced that in the winter timetable, from December 2021, will fly to Zagreb four times a week.

Croatia Airlines announced to connect Zagreb with 4 destinations in domestic traffic – Split, Dubrovnik, Pula, and Zadar, and with 13 international destinations – Amsterdam, Vienna, Brussels, Dublin, Frankfurt, Copenhagen, London, Munich, Paris, Rome, Sarajevo, Skopje and Zurich in winter 2021/2022 timetable.

From December 16, 2021, Eurowings plans to start operations on the Zagreb-Prague route.

Other airlines that operate regularly in Zagreb in winter 2021/2022 timetable are Air France on the route to Paris, Austrian Airlines on the route to Vienna, Aeroflot, Nordwind, IKAR, and Azur Air on the route to Moscow, Air Serbia on the route to Belgrade, British Airways on the route to London, KLM on the route to Amsterdam, Lufthansa on the route to  Frankfurt, LOT on the route to Warsaw, Turkish Airlines on the route to Istanbul, Trade Air on the route to Osijek, Qatar Airways on the route to Doha and Windrose Airlines on the route to Kyiv.

It is worth mentioning that from December 2021, Zagreb will be connected with 50 destinations in the winter timetable. A total of 19 airlines will connect Zagreb with 5 destinations in domestic traffic, and 45 destinations in 28 countries in international traffic.
