With announcement of the new route from New York (Newark Airport) to Dubrovnik, United Airlines (UA/UAL) has extended its code-share cooperation with Croatian flag air carrier Croatia Airlines (OU/CTN). Both air carriers are members of Star Alliance.

There is a new possiblity of transfer on the flights from USA to Zagreb, via Dubrovnik on Croatia Airlines domestic flights. These flights will also have code-share flight number of United Airlines: UA7257/UA7258. Beside that, a long-term code-share co-operation is still in offer to transfer to Croatia Airlines flights in Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich, Amsterdam and others. These flights have code-share flight number of United Airlines. However Croatia Airlines doesn’t offer any code-share cocoperation on United Airlines flights to USA, although this was offered prevoiusly.
United Airlines also decided to start with Dubrovnik flights earler then it was planned. The first flight from Newark to Dubrovnik is now offered on July 1st instead of previously planned July 8th.
