Ukraine International Airlines announced new route to Croatia

Ukrainian flag air carrier Ukraine International Airlines (PS/AUI) has announced its summer timetable which includes two routes to Croatia. After several years they will resume flights on Kiev (Boryspil Airport) – Pula route. Two flights a week are offered on this route, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, from June 2nd until September 29th. Kiev (Boryspil Airport) – Split, route was operated last year with charter flights only once a week, on Saturdays, but this year two flights a week are offered on Thursdays and Sundays from June 3rd until September 26th. Both routes are announced to be operated with Boeing 737-800 (in the picture).

Ukrainain flag air carrier didn’t operate any flights to Croatia for several years before the pandemic. All flights to Dubrovnik, Pula and Split were discontinued after Ukraine war started in 2014. Before that, this air carrier had up to three flights a week on all three routes to Croatia. After that, Kiev to Pula and Split routes were operated only by Ukrainain private air carrier while flights from Ukraine to Dubrovnik were discotinued for a few years. Last year Ukraine International Airlines has resumed charter flights from Kiev to Split after the start of pandemic. Earlier this year two other Ukrainian private air carriers announced their flights from Kiev to Pula and Split, and one of them also Kiev to Dubrovnik flights.
