The Pilot Union of the British flag carrier British Airways (BA/BAW), the member of OneWorld Alliance, went on strike on Monday and Tuesday, September 9th and 10th. Almost 90% of the Pilot Union was included in this strike, and majority of flights were cancelled over the last two days. All flights of the subsidiary companies BA Cityflyer (CJ/CFE), Sun-Air of Scandinavia (EZ/SUS) and Comair (MN/CAW) were excluded from this strike and their flight operations continued according to regular flight schedule.
All flights of British Airways to Croatia were canceled in last two days. British Airways operates regular flights from London to four Croatian destinations: Dubrovnik, Pula, Split and Zagreb. Dubrovnik has 3 canceled flights, Pulu has one, and Split and Zagreb have each two flights canceled.
Strike is announced again for September 27th.
