A few months ago, the British air carrier TUI Airways (BY/TOM) announced its arrival to Rijeka Airport with two new routes. The airline was supposed to operate flights from both London and Manchester, once a week, every Thursday. Meanwhile, the flights on route Manchester – Rijeka were postponed until next year. However, there are currently no flights planned from Manchester, not even for the summer season 2020.
There is only one flight a week left in offer from Gatwick Airport in London to Rijeka, every Thursday. It was previously announced that the fligh would be operated by a Boeing 737-800, leased from the Norwegian air carrier Norwegian Air Shuttle (DY/NAX). Instead, TUI Airways will fly with the same type of aircraft that’s already in its fleet (in the photo). This route will be operated fom May 23th to October 17th this year.
