Because of the coronavirus epidemic (COVID-19) that has spread to most countries in the world, Croatian carriers are also suffering the consequences.
Captain Marko Cvijin, owner of Trade Air, has confirmed to Avioradar that the company returned its Airbus A320 aircraft to Croatia. The aircraft was wet leased in Israel, with the company Israir, and they still hold a valid contract.
According to Captain Cvijin, Israel has introduced special security measures and significantly reduced air traffic. He also told us that at this time, it is difficult to estimate how much damage this event will cause because the situation is not even near its ending.
Other planes leased by Trade Air to other markets are making regular flights.
