On Sunday, March 29th, the first aircraft with 13 tons of protective medical equipment has arrived from China to Zagreb Airport. The aircraft of Chinese air carrier China Eastern Airlines (MU/CES) has arrived with MU7081/CES7081 flight number from Pu Dong Airport in Shanghai.
This Airbus A330-243, with registration B-6543 and serial number 1280 was built for Chinese air carrier in December 2011. It is a regular passanger aircraft which is used in current situation for freight shipping.
Chinese air carrier China Eastern Airlines was founded in 1988 when former state air carrier CAAC (CA/CCA) was divided to several companies. From 2011 they became a full member of SkyTeam Alliance. They have 566 planes in their fleet and operate flights to 250 destinations. The main operational base is Pu Dong Airport in Shanghai. China Eastern is currently the second biggest air carrier in China.
