Portugese flag air carrier TAP Air Portugal (TP/TAP), a member of Star Alliance, was welcomed on Zagreb Airport on Wednesday, June 2nd. This was the first arrival on the new route TP892 from Lisbon to Zagreb. There were 57 passangers on arrival and 61 on departure.

This new route was originally announced from March 28th, but it was postponed to June 2nd. Lisbon and Zagreb will be connected with 3 direct flights a week, on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Originaly Airbus A319 was announced for this route but capacity was reduced in the meantime, and now a smaller Embraer ERJ-190 will be operated. This route was discontinued by TAP in March 2016. After that, Croatia Airlines (OU/CTN) took over this route but it was discontinued again since the beginning of pandemic.
