Portuguese flag air carrier TAP Air Portugal (TP/TAP), a member of Star Alliance, plans to resume flight operations on Lisbon – Zagreb route next year by the end of March. This route is now offered from the begining of Summer 2021 timetable. Starting from March 28, 2021 three flights per week are offered, on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, with Airbus A319 (in the picture).

This is the airline’s return to Zagreb after 5 years. Last time TAP operated regular flight operations to Zagreb was in March 2016, with three weekly flights, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays with a stop in Bologna. Before that, during summer months this route was operated directly, without a stop in Bologna, with up to 4 flights per week. After TAP removed flight operations to Zagreb, this route was taken over by Croatia Airlines (OU/CTN), also a Star Alliance member. Before and after this change, these flights were operated in code-share co-operation between two air carriers.
