Swiss flag air carrier Swiss International Air Lines (LX/SWR) has operated its last flight from Zürich to Zagreb on Friday, October 25th, 2019. This seasonal regular route was operated only during summer timetables, and it was supposed to start with operations again from March 29th, 2020. Unfortunately, in summer 2020 timetable, Swiss has no flights in offer for this route. Flights were operated 3 times a week, on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays with Airbus A220-200 and A220-300 (in the picture).
Route Zagreb – Zürich will now be operated only by Croatia Airlines (OU/CTN) with two daily flights in both directions. As both companies are members or Star Alliance, Swiss is now offering air tickets for Croatia Airlines flights under LX code in code-share co-operation.
