Hungarian low-cost air carrier Wizz Air (W6/WZZ) arrived at Rijeka Airport on Thursday March 25th, for the first time. However the aircraft wasn’t welcomed with water salute and other inauguration ceremonies, because this wasn’t the first arrival on a new route, but a charter flight with a national football team of Cyprus. The flight with number WZZ9001 from Larnaca to Rijeka was nearly 3 hours long. This aircraft will stay at Rijeka Airport until the return of Cypriot footballers back to Cyprus.
