On Sunday, April 19th 2020 in the afternoon, Chinese SF Airilines (O3/CSS) Boeing 747-400F Jumbo Jet landed at Zagreb Airport (ZAG/LDZA). This was its third arrival to Zagreb. Around 70 tons of medical equipment was delivered on this flight. After the unload of cargo and crew change, the aicraft departured back to Shanghai, Pu Dong Airport for a new shippment.
“This is the third arrival from China, agreed between Republic of China and Republic of Croatia, that delivered medical eqiupment which will help in our efforts against coronavirus. The next shippment is taking place in two days, and there are 5 more flights planned until April 29th. For now, this will secure enough medical equipment for all services on the frontline of the coronavirus battle, including health care, police, civil protection and other social institutions” said Damir Trut, the vice-minister of Interntal affiars for civil protection, to AvioRadar.
“Today, this was the third arrival of SF Airlines with a Boing 747F. This flight landed with 70 tons of medical equipment, 10 tons more than the week before. There will be additional 5 flights till the end of the month, and we hope that this will help our health care services and other services that work on the frontlines during these hard times. I also hope that there will be a lot of great photos for readers and followers of your news portal” said Goran Jutriša, the representative of Government of Republic of Croatia.
After the arrival of this aircraft, two regulal passanger flights departured to their destinations.
