On Sunday, November 10th, an Airbus A330-200 has arrived on the flight QR217/QTR6YN from Doha to Zagreb. The same aircraft is also announced for Monday, November 11th. On these two days, Qatar Airways (QR/QTR), the memeber of OneWorld alliance, employed a larger aicraft instead of the regular Airbus A320 that serves this route twice a day.
The aircraft in the picture from Zagreb Airport, registered A7-ACK with serial no. c/n 792, was bulit for Qatari air carrier in 2006. Qatar Airways currently operates 11 Airbus A330-200s and 13 larger Airbus A330-300s in its fleet. Additional 5 Airbus A330-200s are leased to their Italian subsidiary AirItaly (IG/ISS).
