CROATIA AIRLINES – only flights to Frankfurt, Split and Dubrovnik

Ministry of Transport extends PSO flights!

From this morning, Split and Dubrovnik are connected to Zagreb again, after air traffic was suspended due to the COVID – 19 pandemic that paralyzed the world.

The establishment of domestic air traffic took place after the measures for limited movement of citizens, brought by the Civil Protection Headquarters of the Republic of Croatia, were relaxed.

Domestic flights in Croatia to resume with operation

On flight OU656, 11 passengers took off on board Croatia Airlines Bombardier DASH 8 Q400 reg. 9A-CQC from Zagreb at 8:10, and landed at Split Airport at 9:00. The return flight OU657 to Zagreb carried 51 passengers.

To Dubrovnik, 21 passengers took off on flight OU662, Bombardier DASH 8 Q400 reg. 9A-CQB from Zagreb at 8:00 ( landed 9:05), and 33 passengers boarded the return flight OU663 at 9:50.

Flights on these routes will be regular, operated twice a day, until new measures are adopted. With that, we expect to see rise in daily frequencies as well as revival of flights to other domestic and international destinations.

During the suspension of domestic air traffic, Croatia Airlines regularly maintained flights between Zagreb and Frankfurt, which made possible for Croatian citizens to return to their homeland.
