Dubrovnik Airport will resume on Monday, June 15th international flight operations. The first airBalitic flight will arrive from Riga. This route will be operated twice weekly.
Latvian flag air carrier airBaltic (BT/BTI) has announced two new routes for this summer, from Lithuanian capital Vilnius to Rijeka and Dubrovnik. After Covid-19 crisis started, both new Lithuanian routes were withdrawn. But now, the company made a decision to start flight operations on new Vilnius – Dubrovnik route from July 6th, instead of previous start-up at the begining of May. This route is announced now with two weekly flights, on Mondays and Fridays instead of previous operational days on Tuesdays and Saturdays. New Airbus A220-300 will fly on this route (in the picture).
Second new Vilnius – Rijeka route is not in offer anymore. Last year there weren’t any regular direct flights between Lithuania and Croatia. Just several charter flights were operated during the summer on selected routes. This year 3, new routes from Lithuania to Croatia were announced earlier. Beside airBaltic the third announced was Ryanair’s (FR/RYR) Zadar – Kaunas route, but they have withdrawn this route too.
